• Braga Cathedral

Se de Braga Romanesque Cathedral was founded in the 12th century and is considered the most important and the oldest in Portugal.
Admire the western facade’s main gate with its animal and human sculptured reliefs decorations, the Gothic main chapel gargoyles and pinnacles, and the 16th century sculpture of the Madonna and Jesus. Other beautiful decorations are the rich decorations in the other chapels, and the high choir painted ceiling and sculptured gilt wood. Visit the Treasure Museum in the cathedral to admire the 16th-18th centuries religious and artifacts collection.
