• Berchtesgaden National Park

One of the most beautiful parks in Germany’s southeast, located near the Austrian border south of the town bearing the same name. The park is 158 km southeast of Munich and 39 km south of Salzburg (Austria), at the end of the Alpine Road. The park is located within the Berchtesgaden Alps region including the impressive Watzmann mountain, the beautiful Konigssee Lake, the smaller Obersee Lake, and the Watzmann and Blaueis Glaciers.
The Park is an Alpine Jewel of high mountains, green forests with steep rocky slopes, crystal clear lakes, and tranquil rolling hills and meadows. In the park a network of beautiful hiking and cycling trails with overwhelming viewpoints of the surrounding scenery, trails of all levels and lengths.
