A worldwide famous and popular lively little town 30 km north of Como with beautiful villas overlooking the lake.

The old town center has one main road, Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, with small narrow alleys great for strolling around while enjoying shopping at the small local shops.
At Piazza della Chiesa visit the 11th century Romanesque Basilica of San Giacomo and continue through the small alleys down to the lakefront opposite Tremezzina and the western lake shore.

Visit the 15th century Villa Serbelloni, currently a luxury hotel. If you are not the hotel guest, you will be able to visit (pre-booked) only the large splendid park and gardens surrounding the Villa.

The 19th century Villa Melzi is closed to the public, but its highly recommended to enjoy the park and gardens around the villa.
Walk the street of Via Eugenio Vitali to Punta Spartivento where you will value the magnificent scenery of the lake’s three branches meeting together.
