• Bang Pa-In Royal Palac

Bang Pa-In Royal Palace is a fascinating and visually extraordinary royal complex that serves as a summer residence of the Thai royal family to this day. The palace, located 20 km south of Ayutthaya on the Chao Phraya River, was restored in the 19th century, presenting remarkable architectural collection in which Thai, Chinese, European neoclassical, and Victorian Gothic buildings stand side by side on beautiful grounds on an island in the river. The Aisawan Thiphya-at Pavilion, a Thai-style pavilion standing on a platform in the middle of the palace lake, is a magnificent structure with its reflection perfectly mirrored in the still water. The Wehat Chamrun Palace is an impressive example of Chinese imperial architecture. A Gothic church stands nearby, alongside an Italian-influenced tower and a European-style mansion forming an eclectic combination.
