In the northwest near the town of Alcudia, a quiet and beautiful coastal region with small sandy coves, Playa de Sant Pere and Playa de Sant Joan, and green pine forests. Surrounded by protected forests and mountains, the nearby town of Bonaire offers numerous hiking trails within the pine forests overlooking the rugged coastline. Visit the town of Puerto Pollença and its hilltop chapel, and on Sunday enjoy the local market. On the way to town visit the impressive and must see Lluc Sanctuary with its beautiful church and museum and facilities for a comfortable night’s stay. In Parc Natural de S’Albufera, close to Alcudia resort, you will admire a wide range of flora and fauna including more than 200 bird species in the park. Wander around the park by hiking or cycling. Bikes are available for hire at the entrance of the park.
