• The Marseille History Museum

Musee d’Histoire de Marseille is an historical and archaeological museum near the old port presenting the city’s history through to the 18th century. The museum’s collections include the archeological findings during the excavations made in the museum’s site, and items related to the region from the prehistoric period through to the Greek, the Romans, and Christianity (4-6th centuries) until the 18th century’s great plague.
