The museum is one of the largest art museums in Italy, located in the Bourbon Palace of Capodimonte. The National Gallery, part of the museum, is home to Renaissance and Baroque paintings from the 13th – 18th centuries including masterpieces by Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Botticelli, El Greco, Warhol, and many others. Also in the museum the Neapolitan Gallery with art masterpieces by Southern Italy masters from the 13th century to present days. In the ground floor enjoy the magnificent Farnese collection of classical, mostly Roman monumental sculptures. In addition to the magnificent artworks explore the palace’ royal apartments home to 18th century furniture, Porcelain, and Majolica collections.
