  • A Medieval 12th century city, one of the oldest cities in northern Italy, located 46 km west of Venice and 88 km east of Verona.
    The city is home to the 2nd oldest university in the country, which projects a special ambiance throughout the city’s old center. 

    Strolling Padua’s old center you will admire arcaded narrow streets, beautiful Medieval and Renaissance architecture, and large and charming piazzas with vibrant and colorful street markets.

    Enjoy the numerous boutiques, small local shops, art galleries, restaurants and caffes.
    The city, home to Galileo Galilei and the sculptor Donatello, is an important pilgrimage site with Basilica di Sant’Antonio, home for numerous magnificent 14th century frescoes scattered in many sites all over the city.
