At the foot of the snow covered Alps 50 km northeast of Milan, the lake and its surroundings offers overwhelming scenery, the charming towns of Bellagio, Varenna, and the elegant city of Como.

Among the lake’s wonderful attractions are the luxurious villas and gardens lead by Villa Melzi at Belagio, Villa Monastero at Varenna, and Villa Balbianello and Villa Carlotta at Tremezzina on the west shore opposite of Belagio.

Visit the city of Como than drive to Belagio and by a public or private boat to Varenna and Tremezzina.
You can also take a public or private boat starting at Como to Bellagio, Varenna and Tremezzina.

Spend 1-2 days visiting the lake, the towns and attractions, and an additional day in one of the many fully equipped Lake Como Beaches scattered along the lake’s shores.
