Traveling in Turkey we recommend concentrating in one of three regions, Istanbul, Turkey’s main urban center, Antalya Region, the highly popular summer vacation destination in southern Turkey, and Cappadocia in central Turkey, famous for its “Moonscape” scenery, Fairy Chimneys, and other magnificent cultural attractions. Once traveling and vacationing in one region we would recommend considering combining additional destinations and attractions from other regions to increase your joy and experiences. When visiting Istanbul consider flying east to Cappadocia or south to Antalya spending few days in each of the regions. When having a summer vacation in Antalya Region, consider driving or flying northeast to Cappadocia for few highly interesting and magnificent experiences.
