• Laganas Bay and its Beaches

Laganas is the largest resort in the island known for its vibrant night life and dance clubs located 8 km southwest of the town of Zakynthos. Part of the Laganas beach is reserved for the National Marine Park and the breading of the loggerhead sea Turtles. For more information visit the park’s exhibition center in Dafni, at the east end of Laganas Bay. The sandy Laganas Beach has all the required facilities, it is great for families and has water sport centers.
The wide Laganas Bay is home to several beautiful stretches of sandy and shallow beaches in addition to Laganas beach. Visit the nearby popular Kalamaki, Agios Sostis, and Koukla beaches, all offering all the required facilities and are perfect for families. On the western coast of the bay lies the sandy Limni Keriou beach offering the required facilities, diving center and is adequate for families, and the secluded and pebbled Paralia Marathias Beach, 25 km from Zakynthos town.
