West Coast Beaches
Most of the best beaches of Corfu are on its west coast, most characterized by long stretches of sandy beaches set in somewhat tranquil traditional villages.
From Canal D’amour Beach at Sidari, the family oriented resort in the northwest, through Paleokastritsa Beaches, Agia Triada, Platakiia, Agios Petros, and Rovinia Beach, all considered the best in Corfu. Other beaches in the central western region are Mirtiotissa and Glyfada beaches. In the southwest you will find Halikounas Beach, Issos Beach, the resort of Agios Georgios of Argyradon, and others. Secluded beaches in the western coast are to be found south of Paleokastritsa Beach.

Northeastern Coast Beaches
The best beach resort in the northeastern coast are in the ancient fishing town of Kassiopi which offers all the required facilities, numerous tavernas and cafes, water sports and vibrant nightlife. South of the village are some beautiful and secluded coves around Erimitis, and further to the south through Agios Stefanos to Barbati. Larger highly developed beach resorts are found on the coast between Pyrgi, Ipsos, Kontokali and the city of Corfu.

Southeastern Coast Beaches
Large resorts on this coast are in Moraitika and Messongi which are proud with the only sandy beaches on this side of the island. Another large resort is in the far south in the town of Kavos, a resort oriented mainly for young partying tourists. Further south are the secluded and wild beaches of Arkoudilas and Asprokavos.
