• The Abbey of Saint Gall

A magnificent Baroque Abbey and the Cathedral of St. Gall, originally dated to the 7th century and dissolved in the 19th century. The Catholic religious complex is in the city of St. Gallen in Switzerland, 58 km southwest of Lindau. The Abbey’s impressive library is one of the oldest monastic libraries in the world, home to a highly comprehensive collections of early Medieval books some more than 1000 years old.
The Rococo style interior of the library building includes impressive wood carvings, and stucco paintings. In the cathedral enjoy the paintings, ornamental stucco works, the frescoed ceiling, and the numerous sculptures and angels.
