Bodensee is Germany’s largest freshwater lake where the borders of Germany, Austria and Switzerland meet.
The lake consists of three bodies of water on the Rhine River, the upper lake, the lower, and the Rhine Lake from which the Rhine River continues north to the North Sea in the Netherlands.

The lake at the foot of the Alps Mountains, is where the German Alpine Road starts (or ends), and its 100 km west of Fussen, and 80 km east of Titisee and the Black Forest.
