• Rheinfels Castle

A castle ruin above Sankt Goar, Germany, originally built in the 13th century. It is the largest castle in the area overlooking the beautiful Rhine landscapes. Parts of the castle are home to a luxury hotel and a SPA, a restaurant, and a small museum in the former castle chapel with displays related to the castle history. Follow the castle paths along the fortifications, courtyards, and the labyrinthine passageways and tunnels and visit the large, renovated cellar used for meetings and cultural events. Access the castle by walking 20 min. from St. Goar, take a shuttle bus, or by driving.
