• The Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom)

An impressive Renaissance Baroque Evangelical church in the Museum Island (Museumsinsel) in Berlin, originally founded in the 15th century. The current 19th century Cathedral is divided into four parts, the Memorial Church, the Baptismal and Nuptial Church, the Parish Church, and in the basement, the Hohenzollern dynasty crypt currently not accessible. Admire the 75 meters high Green Dome flanked by four towers and climb the 275 steps to the top of the dome for great panoramic views of Museum Island and the city.
In the church enjoy the rich interior decorations including the ornamental mosaics, impressive paintings and statues, gold features, and marble altar. In the Cathedral Museum explore the collection of drawings, designs and church models.
