• Dyrholaey Cliff

Dyrholaey is a 120 meters misty and windy cliff above the ocean, the southern tip of Iceland. The cliff is a short drive south of the Ring Road and 17 km west of the town of Vik, the end of this rout. Dyrholaey is a great place to watch and take a selfie with the quiet and beautiful puffins and eider ducks from a close distance.
The cliff offers magnificent and overwhelming landscapes of the 66 meters high basalt Reynisdrangar columns out in the ocean, the cliffs and the massive arch rising from the water. A different viewpoint of these wonders will be from the Reynisfjara black beach at the end of road 215 near Vik.
