• Loch Lomond, Trossachs National Park

Vast and beautiful landscapes of mountains, lakes and islands, valleys, forests, and countryside, 42 km northwest of Glasgow.
The park is home to Loch Lomond at its center, the Trossachs valleys and lakes between Callander and Aberfoyle, Breadalbane, home to beautiful mountains, and the Argyll Forest of the Cowal peninsula.

The park offers numerous outdoor activities opportunities including lake cruises, kayaking, canoeing or jet skiing, fishing, cycling, horse riding, golf, and hiking, to name a few.

There are many islands in Loch Lomond including Inchca illoch Island, accessible by a ferry service from Balmaha Boat Yard, offering great scenery, beautiful nature trails, and camping sites at the southern tip in Port Bawn. Inchconnachan is a private island with many secluded bays, popular with overnighting yachts and cruisers.

There are many picturesque villages and towns in the park and around Loch Lomond Shores. The village of Luss on the eastern shore is the most famous and beautiful, offering numerous water sports and lake cruises opportunities. The charming town of Balloch is part of the town of Alexandria on the southern tip of Loch Lomond. The town serves often as the gateway to the park, being highly accessible by road and train.
