• Brodie Castle

A castle originally built in the 16th century, and rebuilt in the 19th century, which served as the Brodie family (clan) mansion. The well-preserved castle west of Forres and 37 km northeast of Inverness, has a central keep and two 5-storey towers on opposing corners.

Visit the castle rooms, passageway and towers, and admire the impressive art collections including works by 17th century Dutch masters and 20th century watercolors paintings, period furniture, ceramics, and impressive library. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful landscape garden with daffodils blooming in the spring, a large pond with swans and ducks, nature trail with wildlife observation hides, and a woodland adventure playground.
