• Howletts Wild Animal Park

10 km east of Canterbury, the park is home to more than 50 animal species including tigers, Chinese leopards, lions, wolves, lemurs, and many more. Howletts is a breeding sanctuary for some of the rarest and most endangered  species in the world and is famous for having one of the largest family groups of western lowland gorillas, and lion-tailed macaques.

Also, in the park, educational wooded trails, exciting Treetop obstacle course, and Animal Adventure Challenge with slides, swings and much more.
