This is the restored home of the English naturalist Charles Darwin during 1842-1906, located south of Downe, 23 km southeast of London, and 50 km west of Maidstone. Visit the study where Darwin wrote ‘On the Origin of Species’, the family rooms, and the 1st floor exhibition on the story of Darwin’s life and work.
