The Dolomites Mountains are in the northeastern part of Italia<\/strong><\/a> on the borders with Austria<\/strong><\/a> and Switzerland.
\nThe mountain range is north of Lake Garda<\/strong><\/a> in the west and Veneto region in the east, 100 km north of Venice<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The jagged peaks mountains are bursting with natural beauty, diversity and overwhelming landscapes, a paradise for nature lovers and for those seeking an active holiday.
\nThe mountains region offers endless recreation activities for the whole family or for the extreme activities\u2019 fans, in both winter and summer.<\/p>\n

In summer enjoy one day to two weeks hikes of the mountain top trails (eight “Alta Via” trails), mountaineering, rock climbing, cycling, mountain biking, rafting, and mountain sledding.
\nAll while enjoying green pastures, hidden lake, rivers and springs, waterfalls and picturesque villages and towns.

\nThe major towns are Trento<\/strong><\/a> the capital of the Trentino region in the southwest, the small towns of Chiusa<\/strong> e Bressanone<\/strong> north of Bolzano and the “Pearl of the Dolomites” the town of\u00a0Cortina d’Ampezzo<\/strong><\/a> in the province of Belluno in the eastern part of the mountains range.<\/p>\n

The summer season in the Dolomites is usually from June through to September, winter season is from January through to April.
