Before your visit to Camargue, visit <strong>Musee de la Camargue<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>11 km southwest of Arles, introducing the region\u2019s geography, history, and culture using interactive displays.<br \/>\nVisit Camargue to enjoy the Park beauty for 1 to 2 days. If you are short in time, take a day tour or drive to Saintes Maries de la Mer, and on the way visit the Ornithological Park Pont de Gau to watch the waterbirds and the Pink Flamingos, or visit a ranch to watch the beautiful Camargue horses and Bulls. Experience local cultural traditions and spend time in one of the Saintes Maries de la Mer beaches.<br \/>\nExtend your travel by heading west to Aigues-Mortes and the unique Pink Salt Lakes, and if you want to spend some time in a beautiful remote beach, travel southeast to the town of Salin de Giraud. You can also travel through most of the Camargue attractions in 2 days by traveling 200 km by car, south by D35 to Salin de Giraud, then returning north through La Capeliere nature reserve, and Etang de Vaccares, to Saintes Maries de la Mer.
