The village offers a relaxing and more peaceful atmosphere when compared to the larger resort towns of <strong>Lagos<\/strong>, <strong>Portimao<\/strong> e <strong>Albufeira<\/strong>, and its location between these resorts enables the vacationers to benefit from the attractions they have to offer. The village is highly recommended for families for a summer vacation, and for couples and older visitors in the low season. Surrounded by magnificent scenery, beautiful beaches and high cliffs, the village has a lot to offer for a great summer vacation.<\/p>\n<p>The region, as fully described by TheTjoy.com, is blessed with some of the best beaches in the Algarve with magnificent settings, calm and clear waters best for families, and some great for snorkelling.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Carvoeiro has one beach, <strong>Praia de Carvoeiro<\/strong>, within a walking distance from the town center.
