The Sierra del Norte Mountain range is running along the northern coast and the island is covered with pines, olive and almond trees, which blanket the countryside with blossoms in springtime.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/fr\/city\/9643\/\"><strong>Ibiza<\/strong><\/a>, the third-largest island famous for its beach parties, has a rugged coastline with many fruit orchards and forests. Discover hidden coves and isolated corners of the island, by foot or while cycling in this small, flat terrain island.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/fr\/attraction\/menorca\/\"><strong>Menorca<\/strong><\/a> still has the marks of its ancient history and a strong connection with Britain. Both the capital Mahon and the old town of Ciutadella, at the north, are located at deep inlets forming natural harbors. There are many bays and lovely beaches on the island.<\/p>\n<p>The Balearic Islands are known for the availability of a range of recreation and sport activities. From hiking, cycling, biking, golf, tennis, and horse riding, to diving, windsurfing, deep sea fishing, and much more.<\/p>\n<p>Walking and hiking in the mountains, hills, and valleys of the islands all year round is highly enjoyable, with many marked trails and rural locations. It\u2019s really a pleasure experiencing both the landscape views, the villages, the people, and the culture and traditions.<\/p>\n<p>The Balearics enjoy a mild Mediterranean climate, with often very warm temperatures especially in summer.
