The park consists of rocky peaks and vast pine forests with rich Fauna and Flora, 180 km north of Granada. Sierra De Cazorla is the origin of the R\u00edo Guadalquivir and the Segura rivers, and its home to numerous smaller streams and magnificent waterfalls such as the Salto de los Organos and the Cascada de Linarejos. Also in the park steep gorges such as the Cerrada de Utrero and the Cerrada de la Canaliega, and numerous lakes and reservoirs with the largest being the Embalse de Tranco fed by the infant Guadalquivir.<\/p>\n
The park has rich wildlife such as rainbow and common Trout, Carp, Barbel, Black Perch, Otters, and various species of Duck, Dippers, and Kingfishers. In the woods you can spot Nightingales, Golden Orioles, and much more.<\/p>\n
Travelling the southern part of the park is more recommended with entrance in the village of Cazorla, 45 km east of Ubeda, where you can also find a tourist information center.<\/p>\n
There are two additional visitors’ centers on the A319 road, the main one being the Centro de Visitantes Torre del Vinagre, 30 km northeast of Cazorla, and the Centro de Interpretacion Fluvial Rio Borosa, near Torres de Albanchez at Km 47.<\/p>\n
Accommodation facilities can be found at Cazorla and La Iruela outside the park, and others within the park in Arroyo Frio in the southern Guadalquivir valley and around Coto Rios further north. The Sierra de Cazorla offers a wealth of activities including camping around the park, hiking trails, Horse riding, mountain biking, four-wheel driving, canoeing, fishing, paragliding, and more.<\/p>\n\n
