Enjoy the 17<sup>e<\/sup> century Chapelle de la Misericorde, and the 17<sup>e<\/sup> century fortress, Citadelle de St-Tropez, with its Museum of Marine history and beautiful scenery of the town and the Mediterranean coast.<\/p>\n<p>The beautiful and picturesque Old Port, Vieux Port, offers the impressive yachts, sail boats, and small fishing boats in the harbor. In the port, beautiful colored houses, restaurants and charming cafes, and the nearby fish market on place aux Herbes. North of the harbor walk the promenade to the picturesque Mole Jean-Reveille wharf and the lighthouse, offering great scenery of port and town. There are several small beaches close to the town center and larger beaches further away, mainly in the picturesque Baie de Pampelonne area, 4 km southeast of Saint Tropez.<br \/>\nThere are many chick boutiques and small local shops, in the old town along Rue General Allard, Rue Georges Clemenceau, Rue Gambetta and Place de la Garonne.
