There were 70 towers in San Gimignano during the 14<sup>e<\/sup> century, of which only 14 have survived. Walk around in the narrow streets, visit Piazza Duomo and Piazza Cisterna, admire the architectural features, and window shop the little shops of prints, textiles, and artisan pottery.
