Enjoy cultural events and art exhibitions throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>Leisurely stroll the old town narrow streets, enjoy the architecture, the restaurants and cafes, visit the small galleries, and window shop the small jewelry and antique shops.<br \/>\nStroll the 2 km long charming <strong>Lichtentaler Allee\u2019<\/strong> avenue park and gardens on the west bank of the Oos River, with its numerous tree&#8217;s species, the\u00a0G\u00f6nneranlage lovely Art Nouveau Garden, and the\u00a013<sup>e<\/sup> century Cistercian <strong>Abbey of Lichtental<\/strong> home to the Princes&#8217; Chapel.<\/p>\n<p>Visit the <strong>Kurgarten<\/strong>, Spa Garden, the hub of the town&#8217;s cultural and social life, surrounded by many of Baden-Baden&#8217;s best attractions as well as numerous boutiques, galleries, cafes, and restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the lovely Paradies, the Renaissance Garden with its fountains and high cascades, the lovely ornamental garden, and the lovely rose garden of Rosengarten auf dem Beutig. Admire the extravagantly decorated casino, the <strong>Kurhaus<\/strong>, facing the Kurpark, and next to it the Trinkhalle, Pump Room, a 19<sup>e<\/sup> century impressive arcade decorated with mural paintings by Jakob G\u00f6tzenberger.<\/p>\n<p>To relax, enjoy yourself in one of the two SPAs, the 19<sup>e<\/sup> century Roman-Irish Friedrichsbad, and the modern and luxurious Caracalla Baths. To complement your SPA experience, visit the well-preserved <strong>Roman Bath Ruins<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There are quite a few interesting museums and galleries in Baden-Baden including the <strong>Museum Frieder Burda<\/strong>, one of Germany&#8217;s most extensive collection of modern art, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and more.
