One of the most beautiful and stunning coastal regions in Italy 50 km south of Naples<\/strong><\/a>, entre Sorrente<\/strong><\/a> and Salerno.
\nThe coastline boasts small, picturesque clifftop towns and villages, great small beaches and secluded coves, villas and gardens, lemon groves and vineyards.<\/p>\n

The winding, narrow, and sometime terrifying 50 km coastal road, the hilltop towns clinging to the steep mountain cliffs, and the villas balconies, offers one of the best coastal sceneries in the world with crystal clear waters, blue skies, and the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n

Visit the picturesque, poster-like towns of Sorrente<\/strong><\/a>, Positano<\/strong><\/a>, Amalfi<\/strong><\/a>, et Ravello<\/strong><\/a> among others, and stroll their uphill winding small streets with high end shops, great local restaurants and cafes.<\/p>\n

Take your time and enjoy the sun lying in a beach or a secluded small cove with a glass of the local limoncello, swim in the tranquil sea, or take a ferry or a boat sailing along the coast or to the island of Capri<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Enjoy the gorgeous gardens of Villa Rufolo<\/strong> et Villa Cimbrone<\/strong> dans Ravello<\/strong><\/a>, or hike one of the numerous nature trails, “The path of God<\/strong>“<\/a>, or the trails in the Valle delle Ferriere Nature Reserve<\/strong><\/a> where you will enjoy the streams and waterfalls.<\/p>\n

Spend a minimum of two days in the Amalfi coast region to have a short taste of this marvelous coastline and its multi-colored towns and beaches. Spend an additional one day exploring and enjoying the island of Capri<\/strong><\/a>, and that’s assuming that you have visited Pomp\u00e9i<\/strong><\/a>, Naples<\/a>,<\/strong> et le Isle of Ischia<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The best time to visit the Amalfi coast is April through October but remember that in April-May the sea waters are still cold and in June-August the area is very crowded.<\/p>\n

To reach Sorrento and the Amalfi coast, you can use a rented car, a bus or a ferry from Naples, or the scenic La Circumvesuviana train line from Naples to Sorrento. Traveling in the area, you can rent a car, take a bus, a ferry, water taxi, or a boat tour between the various towns.<\/p>\n
