In the Roman town site explore the Puymin, the remains of a Roman district including paved streets, a shopping area with large columns, roman baths and an Amphitheatre which is still active during the summer festival.<br \/>\nExplore luxurious Roman houses with magnificent Mosaics such as in the beautiful Apollon Laure house, in the <strong>Theo Desplans Archeological Museum,<\/strong> and in the <strong>Puymin Museum.<\/strong> In the museums learn about the Vaison-la-Romaine history including some remarkable findings from the Roman era.<br \/>\nCrossing the Roman stone bridge and strolling uphill through the winding narrow streets and charming passages, you will enjoy the 17<sup>e<\/sup> century Medieval\u00a0upper town built around a square, the <strong>Place Montfort, <\/strong>with its numerous bars and cafes. Visit the impressive 13<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle <strong>Notre-Dame de Nazareth Cathedral<\/strong> and cloister, the 8<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle <strong>Saint Quenin chapel<\/strong>, and the tranquil <strong>Garden of the 9 Maidens<\/strong> with its engraved Granite structures and children&#8217;s playgrounds. In the 12<sup>e<\/sup> century clifftop castle ruins you will enjoy great landscapes of the surroundings.
