Castel Nuovo is the most impressive and interesting casle to visit. Overlooking Piazza Municipio, the castle was built originally in the 13<sup>e<\/sup> century, has trapezoidal layout with four piperno stone covered towers, one tuff tower, and a surrounding moat.<br \/>\nAlso in the castle a 15<sup>e<\/sup> century, 35 meters tall, white marble Triumphal Arch. Explore the Hall of the Barons, the Armory Hall, and the Palatine chapel with its walls covered with frescoes by various artists including Giotto, and Neapolitan Renaissance sculptures.
