Surrounded by vineyards, the town is part of the Wine and Olive oil Route (Strada del Vino e dell\u2019Olio) leading west to <a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/fr\/city\/lucca\/\"><strong>Lucques<\/strong><\/a> et <strong>Versilia<\/strong> near the ocean. The town has a beautiful and well preserved historic center surrounded by impressive walls. The town symbol is the 14<sup>e<\/sup> century Rocca del Cerruglio fortress overlooking the town with semicircular main tower connected through the fortress walls to two square shaped smaller towers. Also in town the Church of Saint Andrew (Chiesa Collegiata di Sant\u2019Andrea), and the church Pieve di San Piero in Campo, dated to the 9<sup>e<\/sup> century.
