Walk on the 10 meters high wall with its 14 towers and enjoy the Chianti countryside and Val d&#8217;Elsa landscapes. Monteriggioni main square is Piazza Roma home to the small 13<sup>e<\/sup> century Romanesque\/Gothic Church of Santa Maria Assunta, and the nearby Armory Museum including reproductions of Medieval and Renaissance weapons and armor.<br \/>\nEnjoy strolling in the narrow streets with the small local shops selling local wine and Jewelry.<br \/>\nThe Medieval festival held in Monteriggioni in early July is one of the most popular festivals in Tuscany.
