The villa&#8217;s main attractions are its beautiful Botanical Garden and Casa Museo, a nicely decorated and elegant museum.<\/p>\n<p>Out of town visit Castello di Vezio, a Medieval fortress overlooking Varenna, home to an exhibition dedicated to the Lariosaurus, a sea reptile from the Middle Triassic period, and a training center for birds of prey.<\/p>\n<p>For nature lovers Varenna is a starting point for hiking in the Grigne mountains. The Sentiero del Viandante beautiful trail is 45 km long from Abbadia Lariana to Colic.
