The park is easily visited for 2-3 hours using a rented car or motorbike, or by an organized tour from Sukhothai. The major Si Satchanalai historical park\u2019s attractions are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wat Chang Lom<br \/>\n<\/strong>The &#8220;Temple Surrounded by Elephants&#8221; featuring a large Sri Lankan-style bell stupa with 39 life-sized beautiful and highly preserved elephant sculptures emerging from the base with their trunks supporting the monument.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wat Chedi Jet Thaew<br \/>\n<\/strong>The &#8220;Temple of Seven Rows&#8221; contains seven rows of small chedis arranged in a unique architectural composition creating striking geometry against the sky.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wat Phra Si Ratana Mahathat<\/strong><br \/>\nThe main temple of the city has several stupas each built in different time periods resulting in a different architectural style. The main attraction in the temple is the seated Buddha statue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ban Pa Yang Village <\/strong>is a traditional pottery village near Si Satchana<br \/>\nlai producing the region\u2019s Sawankhalok ceramics applying old craftmanship traditions.
