It is one of the largest temple complexes in Southeast Asia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wat Si Sawai<br \/>\n<\/strong>Distinguished by its three <a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/fr\/\">Khmer-style corn-cob<\/a> prangs rising from a common base and enclosed by a laterite wall within a water moat.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wat Sa Si<br \/>\n<\/strong>Set on an island in a pond west of Wat Mahathat, it is Sukhothai&#8217;s most photographed temple. In the temple a Sinhalese-style bell-shaped stupa accompanied by the ruined columns of an assembly hall and a large, seated Buddha statue, all surrounded by water that mirrors the monuments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wat Traphang Ngoen<br \/>\n<\/strong>The &#8220;Temple of the Silver Pond&#8221; is set on an island within an artificial pond, featuring a lotus-bud stupa and a large, seated Buddha statue overlooking the water.
