Every surface of the building, both interior and exterior, is covered in intricately carved mythological figures from Hindu and Buddhist cosmology, including scenes from the great Hindu epics. The sanctuary is a working place of worship as well as an attraction. Visitors will explore the interior and exterior galleries, watch craftsmen carving new sections, and attend traditional Thai cultural performances in the grounds. Evening boat tours around the sanctuary&#8217;s sea offer striking exterior views.<br \/>\nAllow at least 2 hours for your visit.
