One of the most popular beaches in the island offers clear and mild temperatures waters, and all the required beach facilities including a bar area.<\/li>\n<li>The popular<strong> Madalena do Mar Beach, <\/strong>in Banda de Alem, 5 km west of Ponta do Sol, is within a tranquil cove surrounded by high cliffs falling to the coast. The black pebbles and sandy coast offer clear and mild temperature waters, a restaurant, a bar, children&#8217;s playground, and the required beach facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Admire and experience the Cascata dos Anjos waterfall falling right on the road and offering free \u201ccarwash\u201d, 1 km west of town.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Driving the ER211\/105 or the ER104 scenic roads 26 km north up to the mountains, you will arrive to <a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/fr\/attraction\/paul-da-serra-plateau\/\"><strong>Paul da Serra Plateau<\/strong><\/a>, 1,500 meters high, offering great landscapes of the surrounding mountain tips, deep valleys and waterfalls, Laurissilva forests, and beautiful Levadas and hiking trails such as the PR6\/6.1 trail.
