Roque windy beach, and Machico beach, offering good surfing conditions, the nearby town\u2019s promenade, and the 15th century Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao<\/li>\n<li>In the port town of <strong>Canical,<\/strong> which used to be a whales fishing exit port, take a Whales and Dolphins watching cruise in which you will sail also along the beautiful peninsula. Also in town a small Whales Museum, <strong>Museu da Baleia da Madeira<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If time allows exploit the network of trails connecting Machico to the small coastal village of <strong>Porto da Cruise<\/strong>, 10 km to the northwest.
