The elevator is built of wrought iron structure with Gothic arches, the two passengers\u2019 cabins are made of polished wood, and Brass dials are used to control the elevator. Using the elevator which climbs ~45 meters, enables passengers to avoid climbing one of the steepest hills in central Lison from Baixa to Chiado and Bairro Alto districts.<br \/>\nAt the end of the elevator\u2019s journey the passengers will enjoy beautiful panoramic scenery of central Lisbon\u2019s old districts, Rossio Square and the Baixa.
