The Imbros Canyon is parallel to the western Samara Canyon. The entrance to the canyon\u2019s 9 km, 2-3 hours trail, is at the village of Imbros, 780 meters in altitude, and walking down hill it ends at the village of\u00a0Kommitades. The remains of the Imbros Gorge mule trail connecting Chania\u00a0and Hora Sfakion, are still partially visible. The trail is highly popular, defined as easy level suitable for families with children. With high canyon walls, narrow gaps between the walls, caves, vegetation and flowers, the trail surroundings are quite impressive.
