The \u2018echo rocks\u2019 in the Jokulsargljufur Canyon is a collection of numerous unique basalt formations of columns and arched caves known to create peculiar echoes. Among the rock formations you will explore \u2018The Kastili\u2019, \u2018The Castle\u2019, \u2018The Troll\u2019, \u2018The Kirkjan\u2019, \u2018The Church\u2019 and many others. There are two marked hiking trails starting at the parking lot, a 1 km easy stroll to the rock formations cluster, and a circular difficult level trail that takes ~2 hours.
