The fabulous, restored church is home to numerous 14<sup>e<\/sup> century famous mosaics and frescoes, some of the finest Byzantine Christian arts.<br \/>\nMost of the interior including the domes is covered with mosaics depicting the lives of Christ and the Virgin Mary.
