The town is one of the leading tourists&#8217; attractions in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and its home to the Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese.<sup> \u00a0<\/sup>Visit the town Railway Station home to the Wensleydale Creamery, the Dales Countryside Museum, and few art galleries.<br \/>\nVisit the <strong>Wensleydale Creamery<\/strong>, the major producer of the Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese, while using traditional recipes following those first done by French monks in the 12<sup>e<\/sup> century. The <strong>Dales Countryside Museum <\/strong>tells the story of the Yorkshire Dales and its people from prehistoric times to present days. Stroll the town streets to enjoy the town market, the numerous local shops, and the pubs and tearooms. The town is also a starting point for many hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding countryside.<br \/>\nNear town, explore the <a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/fr\/attraction\/hardraw-force\/\"><strong>Hardraw Force<\/strong><\/a> Waterfall, the small Cotter Force Waterfall, and the Buttertubs Pass beautiful scenery between Wensleydale and Swaledale.
