The home of Winston Churchill from 1922 until he died in 1965, near Westerham, 27 km northwest of Maidstone in Kent<\/a>. The estate with origins in the 14e<\/sup> century, has beautiful views over the Weald of Kent. The house, a highly popular attraction, has been restored to reflect the early 20e<\/sup> century period with the rooms decorated with memorabilia, gifts, and Churchillian artefacts. In the house the original furniture and books, as well as honors and medals that Churchill received.<\/p>\n

The gardens surrounding the house were designed and created by the Churchills to include a Rose Garden, a Water Garden, the Golden Orfe Pond, lakes, and several structures including Churchill’s painting studio home to a large collection of his artistic works. https:\/\/kentlife.org.uk<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n
