At the museum in the 17<sup>e<\/sup> century Flamsteed House admire timepieces, astronomical and navigational tools. The exhibits include John Harrison&#8217;s sea watch, Russian made F.M. Fedchenko clock, the astronomical instruments used to make meridian observations, and the 19<sup>e<\/sup> century 71 cm equatorial, refracting telescope.<\/p>\n<p>Observe the red time ball used as a public time signal, when it drops at 1 pm every day, and cross the prime meridian line which has set the Greenwich Mean Time.
