• Katerini

Capitale de la région de Piérie, située dans la Riviera de l'Olympe, entre le mont Olympe et le golfe Thermaïque, à 68 km au sud-ouest de Thessalonique. La ville est desservie par la ligne de train Thessalonique-Athènes et par l'autoroute. Katerini est une destination touristique très prisée en raison de sa proximité (7 km) avec la côte et les plages de Korinos, Paralia et Olympiaki Akti.
The 5e century BC city of Dion is 16 km south of the city, the Olympus Mountain National Park is 39 km southwest of the city, and the Elatochori Ski Center in Mount Pieria is 36 km west of the city. In the city and its surroundings hundreds of hotels, Restaurants, pubs and cafes, some are concentrated within the city center around Olimpiou street. When in the city center, visit the Katerini Municipal Park, its gardens, water fountains, ponds and small zoo.
