For offshore summer vacation Spain offers the Balearic Islands<\/strong><\/a> in the Mediterranean Sea and the Canary Islands<\/strong><\/a> in the Atlantic Ocean. When visiting Barcelona consider a short visit to Madrid, and vice versa, or you can have a short visit to Barcelona on your way to one of the Islands for a beach resort vacation. When visiting Madrid, you may consider a few day trips to one of Andalusia\u2019s major destinations including spending some time in one of Costa del Sol great beaches.<\/p>\n
