A beautiful small town, one of the largest in Tyrol, Austria, 62 km west of Innsbruck. The town is known for its beautiful Baroque houses, lively culture and arts scene, relaxing SPAs, and beautiful landscapes of lakes and the Austrian Alps. In winter, the Hoch-Imst ski resort is a popular ski destination for families and beginners, and the Pitztal Glacier attracts advanced skiers.
\nIn summer, the Imst region offers beautiful hiking and cycling trails, rafting in the Imster Schlucht canyon, and rock climbing in the town’s climbing center, Kletterhalle Imst, considered one of the best in Austria. Enjoy the 3.5 km Alpine Coaster starting at the Hoch Imst summit, considered the longest Toboggan in the world.
\nHike along the beautiful and green Rosengartenschlucht Gorge which starts in the town’s center and enjoy powerful stream and beautiful wooden sculptures all the way to the end where you will find a beautiful Blue Cave. its highly recommended to visit Area 47<\/strong><\/a> in Oetztal Bahnhof,13 km east of Imst, considered the largest outdoor extreme and leisure park in\u00a0Austria.
